Currency Redesign

This redesign of US currency features the five, ten, twenty, and one hundred dollar bills, with each bill portraying an iconic US landmark framed by a grid. Each bill has an overall dominant color, with the grid that is cut off by an element in the foreground is complementary to that color. As opposed to true US currency which is horizontal, this currency design is vertical.

This fictitious wine company was created as a sort of play on words from the phrase “the wine dark sea” which comes from Homer’s the Iliad and the Odyssey. The logo is a simple and elegant ocean wave. The branding is a pattern reminiscent of the sun casting patterns on the surface of the sea. This set features a series of five wines, with each being named after one of the seas connected to Greece.
